PROFILE
Tomoyuki Serizawa is a Japanese patent and trademark attorney, qualified to represent clients in Intellectual Property (IP) matters before the courts. He is the founder and managing partner of IPStart. His practice covers all aspects of intellectual property law, with a particular focus on preparing and prosecuting patent applications before the Japan Patent Office (JPO), and handling foreign filings on behalf of Japanese clients. Tomoyuki has extensive experience in counseling in general intellectual property matters, developing strategic patent portfolios, due-diligence reviews of patent portfolios, and preparing patent infringement and validity opinions.
