Hiroshi Hattori is a Japanese patent and trademark attorney,and a partner at IPStart. He joined the firm to contribute to and further its shared vision. His practice spans all areas of intellectual property, with a particular focus on preparing and prosecuting both domestic and international patent applications. Hiroshi is widely respected by clients and fellow attorneys alike for his exceptional drafting skills and the consistently high quality of his legal work. His technical expertise includes chemistry, biotechnology, and software. He is an active member of the Copyright Committee of the Japan Patent Attorneys Association (JPAA), where he focuses on research and policy discussions related to copyright law.
Hiroshi Hattori is a registered Japanese Patent and Trademark Attorney (Reg. No. 19900), with extensive experience in patent, trademark, design, and copyright matters. He earned a B.S. in Applied Biological Science from Tokyo University of Science in 2004, and subsequently worked in copyright-related roles at a Japanese company. After registering as a patent attorney in 2014, he worked for several IP law firms in Japan until 2022.
